Frost Heaves

If you’ve ever visited New Hampshire in the winter, you’ve probably seen signs that says "Frost Heaves" and wondered what they meant. Ken Sheldon, singer/songwriter and humorist says they’re for the town of Frost Heaves, "the most under-appreciated town in New Hampshire."

Ken has performed for audiences across New England, singing his original tunes and telling tales from Frost Heaves, located in the shadows of Mount Monadnock. (Although as the saying says, "You can’t get there from here.") As Fred Marple, the unofficial spokesperson for Frost Heaves, Ken will entertain your group with hilarious stories from the town dump, the Frost Heaves Community Church, and the wacky citizens of Frost Heaves.

In 2003, Ken composed "Good-bye, Old Man," an ode to the Old Man of the Mountain that was nominated to be one of New Hampshire’s official state songs. He is also the creator of Scholastic’s Sing Along and Learn, a series of educational CDs which has sold over 100,000 copies.

Entertainment rate is $150.00 for the 45 minute program.
