East Hill Farm Educational Mission:

To provide a hands on educational experience which incorporates the theoretical and practical applications of farm related tasks.
To provide an awareness and appreciation of the importance of agriculture to our individual existence and global sustainability.

You will find many educational opportunities at East Hill Farm.

Join the East Hill Farm staff and naturalists for a 3 day Farm School Program where students will play an integral role in running our farm.
On our 150 acres, we raise heritage breed cows, goats, and pigs along with horses, sheep, chickens and other farm animals.  Through our school program, students will help us run the farm from milking the cows to fixing fences to helping manage the fields and surrounding woodlands. By caring for the animals and gaining a stronger appreciation for environmental stewardship, the farm will begin to feel like a home away from home.

Opportunities abound for home schooled families to experience life on the farm.  Join us for a two night, 3 day stay including six home cooked meals and full use of all our facilities.

Preschool students enjoy a half day field trip to the Farm where they meet and feed the animals, collect chicken eggs, milk the cow and take a pony ride or tractor drawn hay ride.  Prices include barn tour and activities and pizza and lemonade.
