On Thanksgiving day, EHF serves 300 people a complete turkey dinner at 2 different seatings. |

The kitchen prepares 14 turkeys for Thanksgiving. Each one weighs approximately 28lbs. That's 392 lbs. of turkey in one day! |

The Inn's indoor pool, was the first indoor pool built in New Hampshire. |

EHF loads 5,000 bales of hay by hand into the hayloft each summer. |

At a typical breakfast there are 330 eggs cracked, 15lbs. of bacon and 8lbs. of sausage cooked. |

Approximately 2,000 flowers and plants are planted every spring at EHF. |

There have only been three families to own EHF in the last 173 years, the Aldrich family, the Whitcombs and the Adams. |

There have been four boats to pull water-skiers at Silver Lake. Many of you probably remember the old red boat! |

An average healthy middle-aged horse might eat 3 lbs. of grain and 3/4 of a bale of hay per day. This is approximately 35lbs. of food each week! A pony might eat a handful of grain and 1/4 of a bale each day. |

A horse and pony need to have their hooves trimmed and shoes replaced every 6-8 weeks by a farrier. |
||
|
The original inn was built in 1834. It is considered one of Troy's historic homes. |
